Great Britain by Tony
Arriving in Great Britain was a really great feeling for us, especially considering that we would get to stay in one place for a few days. Immediately, the first thing everyone spoke to us about was the weather. We figured out pretty quickly that the weather was typically dreary in London and adversely, you could see that people really appreciated nice days.
Besides the rare sunny days, people in London seemed to really appreciate pies, pudding, pints and football. Actually, I never knew so many different types of puddings existed and I definitely didn't know there was a such thing as 'hot' pudding. I think that where we found the most passion was in the subject of football. With so many teams in one city, people were aggressively passionate about their favorites.
We had a chance to visit the FIFA World Cup trophy tour and the energy and excitement running through the place was palpable.
Meeting K'naan - Such a privilege to meet this awesome artist! Inspiring music and a fantastic guy. Thank you!!!
Since we were around so many football fans, we asked people to show us their celebrations and at that point, it was no mistaking that Great Britain is a huge football country. I was told that football was a very large proponent of great happiness or great sadness, all depending on who your favorite team was ;)
